Farah Jouni is a Saudi-based producer and distribution executive with over a decade of experience across film development, packaging and distribution in the MENA Region. Born in Lebanon and raised in Jeddah, she has been building inside the Saudi film industry since its earliest years long enough to have watched it grow from the ground up, and sharp enough to have grown with it.

Her producing credits include Malika, directed by Maram Taibah and funded by Film AlUla's AlUla Creates programme. Farah developed the script alongside the director, structured the financing, and closed the global distribution deal with Front Row Filmed Entertainment. The film won the Qayqub Jury Award for Best Canadian Short Film at the Toronto Arab Film Fest. 2025, competed at the Red Sea Int. Film Fest.and Saudi Film Fest., and was presented at the Variety Global Conversations Summit at Cannes 2024. She also served as development producer on The Last Dismissal, directed by Jawahir Al-Amri Special Jury Award at the 45th Cairo Int. Film Fest., Best Director at Hollywood Short Fest, and official selection at the 82nd Venice Int. Film Fest.

As Distribution Manager at Telfaz11, she works directly with regional and international platforms, distributors, and exhibition partners on one of the most active content slates in the Saudi market. That position gives her producing work a commercial precision; she knows not only how to develop and package a film, but exactly where it needs to go and how to get it there. Combined with a filmmaker's instinct for the creative process, she doesn't produce around a director. She is in it with them.

The Tale of Salma and Oud Al Shadaab is her first feature as lead producer. It is not a new idea brought to a new team, it is the expansion of Malika, an IP she has been developing with Maram Taibah since 2024, through the Red Sea Labs 2025, into its first feature. The creative partnership is proven. The world is built. She is now bringing it to financing.
