
Born and raised in Jeddah with Lebanese roots, Farah Jouni embodies a rich fusion of cultures and a deep understanding of Saudi cinema. Her journey through the film industry has spanned every role—from writing and directing to camera operation, editing, and now distribution—giving her a comprehensive perspective on storytelling and production.
Her career began in 2012 as the co-founder of We The Loft, a pivotal part of Saudi Arabia’s early audiovisual art movement. She witnessed the return of cinema to Saudi Arabia and has grown alongside its evolving industry ever since.
In 2021, she was part of the first edition's team of the Red Sea International Film Festival and later worked as a development producer on the award-winning The Last Dismissal. She also produced the acclaimed short film Malika, a nominee at the Red Sea International Film Festival, the Saudi Film Festival, and the Chelsea International Film Festival.
Beyond production, Farah was part of the founding team of Sirb Productions (Ras b Ras) and currently leads distribution at Telfaz 11 Studios, playing a key role in shaping the trajectory of Saudi cinema.
With a holistic approach to filmmaking, she nurtures projects from ideation to distribution, with a strong emphasis on elevating writing and storytelling—an essential pillar in the region’s cinematic growth.
